One thing I noticed immediately that is clearly different from the way we fire over here. These guys fire with fixed bayonets. Over here that is verboten.
You mentioned the weight of the Long Land. Was it nose heavy or just heavy overall?
My 2nd model Bess which is a Pedersoli, weighs about 9 pounds, but it is perfectly balanced. Not nose heavy at all. I've seen smooth bores that are Indian made and they weigh a ton because the stocks are made from Indian hardwoods like teak.
